ChildrenFIRST Mission Statement

Children First exists to promote and protect the rights and well-being of children.

It does this by providing:

  • a forum for sharing experience and knowledge that may help develop models of good practice for working with children;
  • a platform for debate of issues that affect children and their carers;
  • opportunities for children to express their views and concerns.
  • a tool for advocacy with policy-makers and opinion formers;
  • Children First is committed to presenting African perspectives on the situation of children in South Africa and Africa.

Appeal for Donations in Kind

ChildrenFIRST depends solely on grants and public generosity to run its programs and operations. We appeal to corporates, organisations, businesses and individuals to lend a helping hand and support us. [click for more]
